Q: How do I launch the 1UMMAH Market?

Q: How much commission/service fee are you charging for each transaction?

A: Buyer does not pay anything to www.1ummah.org.au. But the seller pays 7% of the total amount paid by the customer. This revenue comes back to fund 1UMMAH’s products and services that are solely developed to help the Muslim community

 

Q: I want to confirm that my purchase from 1UMMAH Market is Sadaqa (charity). How do I receive a confirmation?

A: When you purchase an item, you will immediately see that 93% of the money goes to the seller and 7% comes to 1Ummah, revenue for 1UMMAH’s that funds products and services that are solely developed to help the Muslim community. The excess amount also will be used to fund various charitable organisations. So you can be rest assured that your money spent at 1UMMAH Market is SADAQA (charity)

 

Q: How can I become a seller in 1UMMAH Market?

A: Please refer to the ‘User Agreement’ section 14.

 

Q: How do I buy from 1UMMAH Market?

A: Please refer to the ‘Buying Basics” . Please let me know if you wanna give it outside the use agreement

 

Q: How does the shipping work for 1UMMAH Market?

A: Please check individual shipping policies of the sellers. Some products could be shipped free of cost and others have a cost to it. Sellers will notify buyers when the product is shipped and buyer will get a “tracking” number which will allow the buyer to track the order all the way to their doorsteps

 

Q: Can I pick up my goods after I made my purchase?

A: At this moment, all the sellers will be shipping items directly to you, there is no pick up option.

 

Q: I am very happy with my product that I purchased from 1UMMAH market, how do I leave a feedback? How do I spread the news to all my friends?

A: You can always leave your feedback in review section of that particular product page. As for spreading the news,please share us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/1ummah.org.au/) or use other social media and emails to help us grow

 

Q: I want my family & friends to get Sadaqa Jariayah rewards as well? What can I do?

A: You can share the page on your Facebook profile (https://www.facebook.com/1ummah.org.au/) or use other social media and emails to spread it to your family and friends. You can ask them to volunteer for 1Ummah as well.

 

Buying:

Q: How to bid or buy

A: To purchase an item at 1Ummah, you can buy now at a fixed price. We will be adding an Auction style bidding system soon

 

Q: Can I buy without login in or opening an account with 1UMMAH?

A: No. In order to buy and sell, you must register at 1Ummah so that if you wish to buy or sell products, we will be able to notify you via e-mail.

 

Q: I am not happy with my product, I want to leave a negative feedback? Where do I go?

A: You can leave your feedback in the review section at the bottom of the product page. Our sellers are committed to provide the best service possible. We suggest you first communicate with the seller and try to resolve your issue. If it does not materialise into a positive outcome for you then please raise it with 1UMMAH.

 

Q: How do I return an item?

A: The return of an item can be made by contacting the seller and follow the process defined by the seller. If that doesn’t solve your problem, you can always create a dispute with PayPal and follow the process to get your issue resolved.

 

Q: How do I pay for an item?

A: You can pay via Paypal or by bank transfer (Only if the seller allows)

 

Q: I have trouble paying for an item?

A: You can contact us at info@1ummah.org.au, we will try our best to sort the problem out for you.

 

Q: I don’t have PayPal account, how do I still make the purchase?

A:  If you don’t have a PayPal account, you’ll be automatically redirected to a secure page in 1Ummah checkout where you can enter your credit card information using PayPal secure gateway. NOTE: you do not need to create or have an account with PayPal.

When you’re done, you’ll have the option of saving your credit card details with PayPal by creating a PayPal account or you can checkout as guest

 

Q: I would like to make a cash purchase, how do I do that?

A: At the moment, sellers on 1Ummah do not accept cash payment.

 

Q: I don’t like PayPal and don’t want to use their payment gateway. How do I still pay for an item?

A: We understand that some people don’t like PayPal and their services, but we believe it is the best available solution since it provides:

-Buyer’s’ protection including shipping fee reimbursement

-Seller’s protection – sellers don’t need to worry about buyer’s validity

– Return/Exchange could be handled by PayPal process

– Customer verification and security checks could be handled by PayPal

– Buyer could offer bank transfer but our User Agreement states no responsibility taken on 1Ummah

For the above reasons, we believe it is better to stay with PayPal as our partner.

 

Q: Why does 1UMMAH offer only PayPal payment option?

A: Because PayPal is a secure payment option. Although, 1Ummah is working to get other means of payments soon, the reasons 1UMMAH has PayPal only are:

– Buyer’s’ protection including shipping fee reimbursement

– Seller’s protection – sellers don’t need to worry about buyer’s validity

– Return/Exchange could be handled by PayPal process

– Customer verification and security checks could be handled by PayPal

 

Q: What is my benefit as a customer to use PayPal?

A: You can make your payment online and it gives you credit card security. PayPal is a flexible option for customers and it is cost free.

 

Q: I have made a purchase but how do I cancel it?

A: Please login to your account and under the dashboard, you will find your purchase history. Select the order from there and it will offer you options to cancel the order

 

Q: I have an issue with my purchase/seller how do I raise it with 1UMMAH?

Q: I have provided by mistake a wrong address for shipping. How do I fix it?

A: Please contact the seller to resolve this issue. If you don’t find the solution then please send us an email at info@1ummah.org.au or click on ‘Contact Us’. This step needs to be done before the estimated delivery date to fix this issue.

 

Q: The seller has delivered the order to a wrong address? How do I fix it?

Q: How do I return an item?
